This is most important assignment in my entire degree
you have my access to my uni website
The course name is environmental capstone
The assignment is a project consisting 3 parts
1- a proposal
2- final report
3- a poster presentation
For now will talk about the proposal only
It’s actually kind of group project but each one should do the proposal and final report and the poster presentation individually
The project includes field trip so the group will do the procedure together only and we should have the same question for the proposal
We already came up with a question; I’ll send it shortly
If u see the website our group will talk about the toxicity in Smith’s Lakes
The question we came up for the proposal will be “ The impacts of human activities and land use on the toxicity of water in Smith’s Lake NSW” , u can change the wording of the question if u want
I attached all documents u need and photos and all stuff u need
There is a workshop in the document will tell u what u need to do for the study design and attached proposal examples as well that might help. There is also instructions file what to write in the proposal
I attached also some sources u need to use it, please use it. As our focus will about determining the toxicity using “Bacteria luminescence toxicity-screen” ( BLT-Screen)

Let me tell what we gonna do :
We will go to Smith’s Lake for a week and we will collect some samples and then we get back and we do some analysis for the sample we collecte
With documents I sent there are two lab manual one of them is field lab manual which important to mention in the proposal and the other one is laboratory lab manual which u don’t need talk about it a lot in the proposal;(We will do the laboratory lab manual when we get back for the final report)
For the field lab manual focus until 8.8. I will also send u a listing of equipment we will take with us to the lake
Our group decided to have 10 sites in the lake and we will do 3 replicates “ I will send with the documents a file with the justifications of chosen sites” but these sites might be updated, I’ll let u know if we change anything
I will provide u picture with the site as well

And when u don’t understand some things or u need something please message me as soon as possible
The lab manuals for both the field and laboratory are not for our project but we are going to similar things
Remember we’ll do BLT- screen so please focus in that

Now am talking about the proposal only when we get back we will do the final report and we will use the laboratory lab manual

It’s 1500 words and u need to add more sources extra to what I sent u
Don’t forget to to write something about the quality assurance and control assurance, It doesn’t have to be same as the the example proposals but u should write something and relate to what we do , we only test water
Also you should mention something about seagrass and any thing else( recreation area, golf court, urban areas…..)
