Activity 2

1. Many of the aspects that distinguished the various kinds of knowledge have to do a lot with consideration with the thinking, followed by researching and writing (Schartman, 2009).  Socializing with expertise comes in the place of reflection and creating the image on how it should appear. Followed by researching, and lastly, we can say knowledge is collaborative in that when the research has been done. Hence, writing becomes the last activity in obtaining knowledge.
2. Discourse communities can be defined using either subfield or the field. The mentioned discourse communities are the language used by the specific group of people or a particular genre and use the particular vocabulary and have common goals (Schartman, 2009). For instance, they have used geology as the discourse communities meaning the language used by id geologists which not any other person may use. For this case, it is known that discourse communities have a way to do with specialization. 3. The topics that are entails the discourse communities are the Hip Hop song or the chemistry lab, which means that the only people who can understand it are those in the industry or are full. For the sake of the Hip hope songs, it known by the fans and so they are the one who has greater interest when it comes to the market, they need to have it first as their interest and desires.  As the discourse is available to them, it inspires them. Therefore, it will be more entertaining to those people.
4.  The case that I have looked at it is found on the database concerning the PowerPoint file. I selected this because it is easy to understand and read. The second reason is that it gives a clear description of what the disclosure communities entail. For this reason, the PowerPoint document is an excellent example.
