Writing Assignment. Critique of thought piece written by your professor on July 24, 2020. This thought piece discusses the Coronavirus Pandemic Bust and provides an outlook on the economy two to three years down the road. It is an update of an April 27, 2020 article appearing in a major Canadian investment letter. The April 27th article is attached to this writing assignment in order to provide context to the reader of the July 24th piece.
Dear Students of Economics 3200 (Course Code 64444, Section FTRA):
Intermediate Macroeconomics:
Instructions: Read the thought piece, The Undiscovered Country, at least two times. The thought piece is contained in a word file attached to the Writing Assignment. Write a review of no more than four (4) double-spaced, typed pages on this thought piece. Please write of your reaction to the content of the piece and how you would update its content. Specifically, please concentrate on what we have learned about the coronavirus since April 2020. What would you add to make the content more complete and better and why?
A student should strive for thoroughness, preciseness (accuracy) and conciseness (brevity of written expression) in his/her exposition.
A student shall be penalized should he/she write more than four (4) double-spaced, typed pages. The font style may be either Arial, Calibri or Times New Roman and the font size may be 11 or 12.
Pages should be typed and stapled together. Also, page numbers should be inserted on the bottom right-hand corner of each page. However, the first page should not be numbered. The assignment due date is Tuesday, March 16, 2021. Students should e-mail their completed writing assignments to the following e-mail address: william.henry@baruch.cuny.edu no later than 9:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 16th.
Each student is to write his/her assignment without assistance or help from one or more persons. One exception to this rule is help proffered to students by the Writing Center of Baruch College.
