Overview
We know that attendance at school has a direct impact on a scholar’s success. We expect all scholars to be in school on time every day, because every minute matters. Teachers submit attendance, and it is Ops’ responsibility to do Whatever It Takes to communicate to all families and to drive towards 100% attendance.
Task
Below are the two charts that our Dean of Students sends to our staff in a daily email with our key culture “health stats” regarding our school’s attendance, homework completion, and uniform rates for the day. As the Office Coordinator, it’s your job to make this ready to go for the Dean of Students – all she should have to do is copy and paste in to her email.

The Excel file attached contains the raw charts and data for your reference. (Note that the numbers/names do not exactly match.)
Homeroom teachers log the attendance data directly into our student information system (Infinite Campus) each morning by 7:40am.
You can pull a report for the school’s attendance data details.
You begin to call families of absent scholars at 7:45am and track any notes for all staff’s reference.
You update the Health Stats Summary Chart manually with the day’s attendance and on-time percentages.
Teachers-in-Residence check HW binders for completion and enter it into our online tracking system (Kickboard). It produces a raw data extract as in the Excel file (“KB Export” tab).
Teachers-in-Residence manually calculate and update the day’s HW completion and uniform percentages.
Using the information above, please:
Edit the Excel file to make each day’s refresh of the percentages as automated/efficient as possible. You are welcome to manipulate the workbook in any way you see fit, including editing any fields or creating new sheets. (If there are any assumptions that need to be made about the process or the data, please detail these in your final submission.)
